Circle City Prep was recently featured on Fox59’s Indy Now to highlight our annual Black History Month program, Rhythm of Revolution: A Motown Story. During the live news segment, Circle City Prep scholars delivered an electrifying Motown-inspired dance performance, showcasing the strength of our performing arts program and the vibrant talent within our K–8 charter school community. This year’s Black History Month celebration takes audiences “back to Motown,” honoring the cultural impact of Motown music while celebrating the history, resilience, and contributions of Black leaders and artists.
Eighth-grade scholars Elijah and Jonah joined CCP teacher Mr. V to share how participating in the Black History Month program has shaped their growth. They emphasized the importance of understanding where you come from, representing Black excellence, and using the arts as a platform for deeper reflection on history and identity. At Circle City Prep, we are committed to providing meaningful academic and extracurricular opportunities that empower scholars to discover their talents, build confidence, and prepare for high school and beyond. Circle City Prep is currently accepting new student enrollment for families seeking a supportive K–8 charter school experience focused on excellence, culture, and community.
