Our Model

Welcome to a new way to work in schools

  • Coach and Develop Great Talent – Each teacher has an Instructional Coach who is frequently in their classroom, meeting with them on a weekly basis and supporting them in every aspect of their job. 
  • Build Strong Teams – When you join our team, you truly join a tight-knit community of educators who support one another. Frequently, you’ll find teachers popping into each other’s classrooms, supporting one another both personally and professionally. 
  • Student Supports Team – There are many challenges our Scholars and families face every day and this is where our amazing Student Supports Team comes in. They help connect our families to resources, follow up on any concerns or even ensure their Scholar gets enrolled in after-school clubs, allowing our teachers to focus on classroom instruction over everything else. 
We Offer

Tools of the trade

  • Teacher Wellness Wing – A sacred space where teachers and staff can take time to center themselves, prep for upcoming lessons, or meet with their grade-level team. This space has a Cafe, two work rooms, a silent space, and a collab room. 
  • Lead Teachers need time to prep, plan, and review data on a daily basis. Every lead teacher has 120 minutes of prep time daily Monday-Thursday. Additionally, we have an early release of 1 pm on Fridays to allow teachers and staff to engage in weekly professional development. 
  • To be a great teacher, you need time to care for yourself and your family. We offer unlimited flex time (under 2 hours) for when appointments come up or things happen throughout the day. In addition to school holidays, teachers receive 40 hours of sick and 40 hours of vacation time, and 2 scheduled mental health days.

All candidates have an opportunity to sample teach, complete a performance task, observe classrooms, personally meet scholars and staff, and complete panel interviews. There is plenty of opportunity to ask questions.
